Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with 10–15 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and full-stack application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications, along with experience in Groovy, Splunk logging, and database technologies such as Cassandra or SQL.

Experience in Agile methodologies and knowledge of the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) domain will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Build, enhance, and support microservices-based applications using Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate services across distributed systems.
• Implement application components using Spring MVC, Hibernate, and advanced Java programming concepts.
• Develop and maintain application features using Groovy-based frameworks.
• Design, optimize, and manage database operations using Cassandra and/or SQL databases.
• Implement application logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting using Splunk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Follow Agile development practices, participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Apply best practices for coding standards, version control, testing, and software documentation.
• Leverage knowledge of the IVR domain to support business requirements and application integrations, where applicable.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and J2EE development.
• Advanced knowledge of Java programming, object-oriented design, and enterprise application development.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed application development.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate and ORM concepts.
• Development experience with Groovy and Groovy-based frameworks.
• Experience with Splunk for application logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Cassandra and/or SQL databases.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Understanding of full-stack development principles and enterprise application integration.

Required Experience

• 10–15 years of overall software development experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Java/J2EE and enterprise application development.
• Proven experience developing and supporting Spring Boot and microservices-based applications.
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases and application monitoring tools.
