Only individuals with a disability will be considered for employment for this position.Witco is hiring for a Mail Clerk position to join our operations at the Official Mail Center (OMC) at the Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB). This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all mail.CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReceive/ sort / distribute all official mail and inter-base communications for the OMCWeighs and determines classification as well as correct postage on all outgoing official mailPrepares command pouches for entry into the USPS mail systemReceives, processes, and dispatches accountable mail containers and USPS Express MailAdhere to all standards, policies and procedures promulgated by the Board of Directors and President and CEOREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSDocumentation of disability, signed by a qualified licensed professional or state/government entity.Candidates must qualify and obtain Secret Security Level Clearance for Secure Mail Delivery on a Military Base and Maintain Secret Security Clearance credential at all times while employed.Must be a US CitizenHigh School Diploma / GEDGeneral math and reading skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPrior mailroom and mail delivery experienceMilitary background with previous security clearanceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.EOE/M/F/Vet/DisabilityThe AbilityOne program requires a individual to have a severe disability to qualify for the program.Must obtain Secret Security Clearance through the successful completion of an extensive Department of Defense background check and pre-employment drug screen
